MENOS Fire began in 2021 as the passionate founders were seeking a multi- purpose mobile braai that was stylish, cost efficient and had no compromise on the ability to cook, whatever the heart desires. Having experienced various braai’s that didn’t survive more than one season, the search for something durable, easily transportable and of good quality was what we set our hearts on. Noting a serious lack of affordable, high quality braais, we were inspired to answer the call ourselves, and so Menos Fire was created. @thesafaributler The Safari Butler has tested our product on a daily basis cooking for his clients in the Zimababwe Bushveld , cooking all sorts of meat for high-end clients. What more of a test do you need? A travelling Chef, that scours Africa cooking meats like Reedbuck, Kudo and then loading the braai into it’s travel bag and off to the next watering hole or camp site. Our Values No Compromise on Cooking We value quality. Often in the market you may get low cost products. We don’t have to tell you these wont last. You also get high end, at a price that is inflated as you pay for name or looks. Menos is both without the price tag. Our design is gorgeous, sleek, durable and most importantly well priced. Durability We not in business to sell a product we don’t believe in and we all know if you buy cheap, you buy twice. We want our product to last, therefore we’ve included in the cost the best grade steel available – allowing the heat to be dispersed towards the food to cook and away from the sides. Whether it’s the rugged African travel lifestyle, or the Durban north easterly wind, our product is made to last. Portability We believe in clean design, but also taking into consideration mobility of the product. The product is easily folded into it’s own bag for ease of travel and storage. This is reflected in the design of all our products. Campers, Fisherman, avid 4x4 enthusiasts and many others love the product. So will you. Our Braai’s are made from CR12 steel, which is perfect for cooking and holding the heat from coals or even Namibian hardwood. We have two types of braai’s at the moment available in stock but are always innovating and looking at new concepts. Our Braai’s can take any form of fuel, whether its wood, coal or your neighbours Amarok.
